After years as a rep for Heritage Stoves, Barry Jacobsen moved his family to St. George from Morgan, Utah in search of warmer weather and to start a career in real estate. Instead of real estate Barry saw the opportunity to start his own hearth business as he was driving down St. George Boulevard and noticed that the only fireplace store in town had closed it's doors. 16 years later, The Fireside is still doing what it does best - serving the residents and builders of Southern Utah. Specializing in almost all aspects of the hearth industry The Fireside is still going strong due to the hard work and dedication of Barry and his wife Linda.
